Week 4/ 01.02.2021

This week (!st - 7th Feb) is Children's Mental Health Week.

Being able to talk to someone about our feelings is very important. It is not easy to be happy all the time and during these difficult times we may find ourselves feeling lots of different emotions - sad, scared, anxious, lonely, confused, fed up, stressed. We should take time to think about how we are feeling and share that with others. Sometimes another person can help us to see that things can be sorted, or things are not as bad as they seem. They can also make us smile, laugh and feel good about ourselves again.

So. we in Primary 6 are going to have a 'Mindfulness Monday'. We are going to take time to ourselves, doing things that make us feel good. Mr Mackin and Mrs McGuckin have decided that there will be no formal school work today. Instead you are going to treat yourselves and all we ask is that you post us a photo or short video of you doing something you love. So - go have some fun!
