Monday

Literacy - 

 

W.A.L.T: Identify the sound o o o.

Please refer to the picture for letter formation, posted to your journal on Seesaw.

 

Practice writing the sound/letter o.

Can you think of anything that begins with the sound o?

Draw a picture of what you have thought of and write lots of the letter/sound o around your drawing using different colours.

Post your drawing to Seesaw.

Numeracy -

There will be 2 different tasks to complete.

World Around Us - 

 

With your parents, search through recipe books/recipes on the internet for something sweet that you would like to make.

Make out a list of the ingredients that you need to make the sweet treat you chose in picture form and a picture of what you would like to make.

Post a picture of your drawings to Seesaw. I can't wait to see what you have all chosen.

You can try to make this on Wednesday!

Tuesday

Literacy -

Numeracy - 

 

Please complete worksheet in home learning pack - page number 1 on triangles.

Can you find anything in your home that is in the shape of a triangle? If you can, take a picture of it and post it to Seesaw.

Wednesday

Literacy - 

 

Procedural writing activity.

Using the recipe you found on Monday, in picture form, draw out the method for making your chosen sweet treat.

Use language like: "What is the first step, then what do you do..."

Take a picture of the recipe method you have drawn and post it to Seesaw.

 

Numeracy -

Art/Cooking - 

 

Using your recipe and the method you have drawn out, with help from an adult follow the instructions carefully and make your sweet treat.

Post a picture of your final creation to Seesaw. I am so excited to see what you have made!
