General Ideas - Talk about the 'day of the week', discuss the 'daily weather' and outline the 'daily routine'.

Reminder - Continue to allow your child to develop their fine motor and hand/eye co-ordination skills by e.g. pouring out their own drink, using real utensils, buttering their own bread/toast as well as washing and drying their own utensils.

The Arts - Art and Design

Activity - Mark Making - Use drawing materials to create different types of line e.g. straight, curved, dotted, zig zag.  Make thick/thin lines, long/short lines.

Create different pattern (over and over) e.g. stripy, diamond, spotty.

Design a crown using all of your ideas.

Use your body to pretend to be different animals;

Snake: slither across the floor, Butterfly: flutter around the room, Elephant: stomp with both feet, Kangaroo: bounce around, Frog: hop like a frog, Flamingo: stand still on one leg
