Religion

The Web of Life.

This is a term used to describe how all living things need and depend on each other and the earth for their survival. Humans are "stewards" of the earth. A steward is someone who takes care of something without owning it. The tenth commandment teaches us to take care of the goods and property of others, and that includes caring for the planet that all living beings share. Climate change, caused mainly by the actions of humans, is one of the greatest threats to life on earth. We have a duty to look after and protect all of creation. When we do this we are living the tenth commandment. Every small thing you do to care for the earth and all God's creatures counts. Every small thing you do makes a difference.

On Seesaw you will find a template for Web Of Life.

In the centre of the web you will see the word 'GOD'. Your job is to think of all the different things God has created for us to enjoy and look after on this earth and write them onto the web. You can then colour it.
