To participate in the fun, we have posted up some Super Hero masks that you might like to print off and cut out, or if you cannot print them off, then why not design one of your own? We would love to see them!

Religion

Today (19th March) is the Feast of St. Joseph. Pope Francis has asked that this should be the start of a year of devotion to one of his favourite saints. St. Joseph has many titles:- Patron saint of labourers and workers; Guardian of Families; Protector of the Church and Foster Father of Jesus are just some of them. During these difficult times of Covid and Corona virus, many families have been suffering and chapels have been closed. Pope Francis would like us to pray to St. Joseph in his role as Guardian of Families and Protector of the Church to keep us safe and help us through these hard times.

Below is the prayer which the Pope has asked us to pray. It is quite difficult, so you are being given the chance to create your own prayer to St. Joseph on your Seesaw activity.

Prayer to St. Joseph

Hail, Guardian of the Redeemer,

Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

To you God entrusted his only Son;

in you Mary placed her trust;

with you Christ became man.

Blessed Joseph, to us too,

show yourself a father

and guide us in the path of life.

Obtain for us grace, mercy and courage,

and defend us from every evil.

Amen.

Have a lovely weekend and stay safe! And we can't wait to see you all on Monday morning!!
