Sat 14 Mar 2026Our Nursery, P1 & P2 pupils enjoyed their Irish rhythm and song sessions this week with Miss McAnulty and Miss McKeever.
As part of our Seachtaine na Gaeilge celebrations to bring Irish into our classrooms, our children had the chance to learn some songs, rhythms and numbers! A great way to bring the language in at a young age! #SnaG26 #IrishLanguageWeek

Baking in P3
Sat 14 Mar 2026Baking Buns in P3 today
P3 and Mr G swapped their pens and pencils for aprons and whisks today as they put their learning to real life practice.
They put their instructional reading to the test to follow the recipe step-by-step and used their knowledge of mass and weighing skills to make sure every ingredient was measured to perfection.
We can confirm the buns tasted amazing, we look forward to the next batch
Head over to P3’s class page for some amazing photos of the bun making process

There were plenty of smiles, snacks, and furry friends joining in on the fun. We are so glad to have Sam back where he belongs!

World Book Day Guest
Sat 14 Mar 2026Building big dreams in P2!
For World Book Day, we had a very special visit from one of our parents, Aisling, who read her incredible book all about the world of construction!
As it’s also Women in Construction Week coming up, Aisling wanted to show our boys and girls that they can grow up to be anything they want to be and even build anything they imagine.
After a lovely story time we enjoyed a construction themed play.
To make the day even more special, the Irwin company very kindly gifted every single child their own copy of the book and a bag full of goodies to take home!
A massive thank you to Aisling for the inspiring story time and to Irwin for their amazing generosity.

A Special Day for Our Parish & School
Wed 04 Mar 2026It was an honour for our school to be part of the reopening of our local parish chapel following its recent renovations.
After a beautiful Mass, celebrated by Archbishop Eamon Martin, we were delighted to host a celebration afternoon back in our school.
We are so incredibly proud of our children, who were invited to participate in the Mass. They represented our school so well and were a credit to their families!
It was wonderful to see the community come together to celebrate this new chapter for our chapel.
Well done to our boys and girls 😊
