New School Year
Wed 08 Oct 2025As we welcome a brand new school year, we extend a massive welcome back to all our boys and girls. We had a lovely two days settling into our next classrooms and meeting our new teachers and assistants.
We look forward to welcoming to all of our new boys and girls over the coming week. Whether you are returning or joining us for the first time, we are thrilled to have you as part of our school community.
We hope you all have an amazing school year and enjoy all the exciting learning opportunities our staff have to offer.
Our very own FOSPA fairies sent us all a cool treat to celebrate the new school year, the children (and grown ups) really enjoyed it Thank you FOSPA, you really do spoil us!
We would also like to wish our recent P7 leavers class a massive good luck as they start their new schools.
Normal school day starts again from Monday 1st for our P2-P7 classes.

Eat Smart Week
Wed 08 Oct 2025Eat Smart with The Lunch Bunch Healthy Eating Week
Our pupils have really enjoyed our special Eat Smart Week. With a wide range of meals each day and lots of taster pots the children had an opportunity to try lots of new things.
A big thank you to our amazing kitchen team,
Michelle, Paula, Linda and Charlene.
The ladies work hard all year round to provide us with super healthy lunches every day.

First match of the season
Wed 08 Oct 2025Our Gaelic team had their first outing of the year last week in Portadown at a blitz held by St John The St. John the Baptist's College.
The boys had a great day. Displaying some great skills and sportsmanship.
Many thanks to our hosts and to Mr Mackin for coaching the boys.

Netball Team
Wed 04 Jun 2025A little bit of history made today as we proudly played, for the 1st time in over a decade, a St. Patrick’s netball match. We were hosted by Tannaghmore PS in Clann Éireann YC and all girls had plenty of game time across several matches! We are incredibly proud of how our girls performed in their debut game Many thanks to our volunteer coaches-Niamh and Andrea, who run our after-school netball club and to Miss Lavery who accompanied our girls today Bring on the next match Maith sibh ar fad a chailíní

Soccer Shield Winners
Wed 04 Jun 2025A massive well done to our soccer team who came away tournament winners last week!!
What a great achievement! The players and their manager were absolutely delighted!
Some great skills on show with one of our players even winning "Player of the tournament".

Parents Stay and Play

It was a lovely morning and the children enjoyed showing off their classroom to their parents.We would like to thank the parents for their time.

School Clubs
Thu 13 Mar 2025Yesterday saw the start of our new set of school clubs for our children at our Club Afternoon sessions.
We had a massive 10 different clubs on offer for our boys and girls to choose from.
From Cookery, Lego, Film, Board game, Drawing, Tin Whistle, Needle work, Coding, Irish and Pottery our children were definitely spoilt for choice.
There were lots of happy faces and great fun all round!
We would like to thank all the staff who facilitated each club. It was a massive success

Thank You FOSPA
Thu 13 Mar 2025A big ‘THANK-YOU’ to our fabulous FOPSA volunteers for donating a World Book Day pack to every single one of our pupils yesterday! The boys and girls were delighted.

Gaelic le Gaeilge
Thu 13 Mar 2025Comhghairdeas to all our girls who participated in the Gaelic le Gaeilge tournament this week hosted by Clann Éireann.
The girls showed excellent sporting skills across all games and came home winners.
The girls had a great morning learning Irish and then getting the opportunity to use their new language skills on the pitch! It was a very enjoyable morning. Many thanks to all at Clann Éireann. Great event!
