After Schools Club provision
Each term we offer a range of after-school clubs, facilitated by school staff, volunteers or our external partners. We have a very strong and long-standing partnership with Healthy Kidz, as well a more recent partnerships with Keith O'Hara School of Soccer, enabling us to offer clubs including dance, gymnastics, multi-sports, basketball and soccer.
This year we are delighted to be able to offer a netball club, thanks to the volunteering of two of our parents who themselves were keen netballers! Our P7 teacher, Mr. Mackin, also provides a seasonal after-school running club and after-school Gaelic.
In the latter part of term 2 2025, we plan to roll-out a trial of 'Fun Friday Clubs' for P4-P7 pupils, from 2-3pm each Friday. This will allow pupils who cannot ordinarily stay for after-schools clubs to have access to extended opportunities for skill development and new learning in a relaxed and fun environment. Our Feb/March 2025 clubs include ceramics, LEGO build club, Coding, drawing, tin whistle, cookery and Irish!
We support the school outreach work of our local GAA clubs- St. Enda's Camogie Club, Sean Treacy's Hurling Club and Wolfetones GAA club, who also offer seasonal after-school partnerships.
