Deaf awareness week 2026
Fri 15 May 2026Seachtain Feasachta na mBodhar
It’s Deaf Awareness Week and we’re striving to provide classrooms that truly support every student!
For children using hearing devices, the "Right to Understand" starts with an accessible environment. A hearing aid amplifies everything, including background noise, which can make learning exhausting.
St Patrick's aim to make our school more accessible by ensuring all our children have the right environment to promote their learning, grow and thrive in our school.
This #DeafAwarenessWeek, let’s ensure our classrooms are built for success, not just sound.

Leavers trip 2026
Fri 15 May 2026And they’re off!
Our Primary 7 children arrived safely earlier at Carlingford Adventure Centre for their highly anticipated end-of-school trip!
The group had a brilliant morning getting settled into their new home away from home for the next few days.
There was plenty of excitement (and unpacking!) as they got sorted into their rooms.
No time is being wasted—the action has already started! The kids are currently putting their strength, focus, and bravery to the test the rock climbing. We eagerly await to see if their teachers are as brave and make it to the top

Baking in P3
Sat 14 Mar 2026Baking Buns in P3 today
P3 and Mr G swapped their pens and pencils for aprons and whisks today as they put their learning to real life practice.
They put their instructional reading to the test to follow the recipe step-by-step and used their knowledge of mass and weighing skills to make sure every ingredient was measured to perfection.
We can confirm the buns tasted amazing, we look forward to the next batch
Head over to P3’s class page for some amazing photos of the bun making process

World Book Day Guest
Sat 14 Mar 2026Building big dreams in P2!
For World Book Day, we had a very special visit from one of our parents, Aisling, who read her incredible book all about the world of construction!
As it’s also Women in Construction Week coming up, Aisling wanted to show our boys and girls that they can grow up to be anything they want to be and even build anything they imagine.
After a lovely story time we enjoyed a construction themed play.
To make the day even more special, the Irwin company very kindly gifted every single child their own copy of the book and a bag full of goodies to take home!
A massive thank you to Aisling for the inspiring story time and to Irwin for their amazing generosity.
