  Ceol & Damhsa: Traditional music sessions and Irish dancing.

  Ealaín: Irish-themed art competitions.

  Cluichí: Fun quizzes and games through Irish.

  Poc fada - sporting competitions

  Gaeilgeoir na Seachtaine- A special award for those making an extra effort with the language!

   

  It’s a time to celebrate our culture, our heritage, and to use whatever Irish we have—

  Is fearr Gaeilge bhriste ná Béarla cliste!

  Last week kicked off our second block of school clubs! This term, our students are offered a fantastic range of opportunities designed to spark creativity, build tech skills, and promote wellbeing.

• Sports stars

  A fabulous day of Gaelic football was had by all today at the North Armagh indoor Boys and Girls blitz. As the lead school, we hosted pupils from St. Mary’s Derrytrasna, St. Brendan’s Craigavon, Tullygally Craigavon, St.Patrick’s Aghacommon and St.Oliver Plunkett’s Ballyhegan enjoyed a full day of games.

  There was some truly excellent football on show and equally impressive sportsmanship.

  Many thanks to St.Peter’s GAC for hosting and to Chris Lennon who was our referee for the day. Congratulations to our girls who came out top and won their final. Congratulations also to St Brendan’s Craigavon boys team, who won their section too. Our girls will now progress to the county finals next month.

  Children’s Mental Health Week

  This years theme is "Tá áit agam anseo" — This is my place.

  What a day! We had a blast celebrating the start of Children’s Mental Health Week with our "Break the Rules Day."

  From crazy hairs to staff rocking their pyjamas our school showed off their unique personalities and brought so many smiles to the hallways.

  Sometimes, breaking a few rules is exactly what we need to recharge and reconnect. A huge thank you to everyone who participated

  We are super-proud of our P7 Girls Indoor Gaelic squad who competed in the County Finals today in Armagh Harps GAC. While it wasn’t our day, our girls showed great skill and determination accruing lots of scores!! Special thanks to Mr Mackin and Mr McKeever for coaching the team and a special shout out has to go to our top scorer today, Aisling Byrne, who was on fire

  Our Eco Committee successfully completed their Big Schools' Birdwatch survey last week! Despite the wind and rain, they managed to spot so many different species right here on our doorstep. 🌳

   

  By submitting their data online to the RSPB Big Schools' Birdwatch, they are helping to protect nature for the future.
