Literacy: Find things in your house beginning with 'e.' Listen to the 'Ee' song. Complete the 'Ee' worksheet and draw and label at least 3 things beginning with 'e' on the back.
Numeracy: Adding or Subtracting 10
Put out a set of small objects eg. raisins. Ask your child to quickly add or subtract 10 to that number. For example 7+ 10 = 17 or 15- 10 = 5. The aim is for your child to add or subtract ten without having to add more or take away the objects. Listen to 'The Adding by Ten Song.' Complete worksheet 'Adding or Subtracting Ten Kites and Arrows.'

'Half and half'- Find half of an object
World Around Us: Forms of Water
Explain that water can come in different forms. Talk about different forms of water such as steam, water, snow and ice. Introduce the terms solid, liquid and gas. Watch the video-clip 'States of Matter.'
Here are two investigations you can do. Remember to look carefully at the water at all stages of the investigation and talk about how it is changing.
Making ice-lollies:
1. Pour diluting juice and water into a small plastic cup. (liquid)
2. Put in a lollipop stick or spoon.
3. Put in freezer.
4. Eat ice-lolly (solid)
Making jelly:
1. Boil kettle (liquid and gas)
2. Pour over jelly cubes and stir (liquid)
3. Pour into small pots
4. Put in fridge
5. Eat jelly (solid)

Literacy: Big Book 'The Pig in the Pond'
Draw and label three characters in the story. Draw and label the setting. (farmyard) Try to label lots of details in the setting such as the pond and fence.

'Are You Shore' - Positional Language
PE: Yoga
Have a go at 'Cosmic Yoga Squish the Fish.' It is great fun for all ages. My children and I have tested it out! A small blanket is great for each child to designate their own space. It works even better if you are able to put it on a big screen.
